Mike Medchill Reaches Another Milestone

The Mineral Point Wrestling Community is proud to announce that Mike Medchill has become the third individual from the Mineral Point Wrestling Program to be inducted into the George Martin Wrestling Hall of Fame. On November 7 th 2008 , Mike will join Coach Allen Bauman and Rich Lawinger as one of Wisconsin Wrestling's elite.

Mike was a three time WIAA State Champion in 1965, 66, and 67. He compiled a High School record of 110 wins and 0 losses. He was a National Junior College Champion, a two time NCAA Division II runner up, and an NCAA Division I semi-finalist and All-American. Mike is a charter member of the Mineral Point Wrestling Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the National Junior College Hall of Fame.
